So... it's been a really long time.
I'm sure you know better than we do haha. We've been laying low. Still doing shows and such,
but not really working on too much music. Well, not together anyway.
I have about....six songs written on my iTouch that are, surprisingly, only for me. I'm sure you're wondering
why that is so shocking, but here's the thing: I never wanted to be a solo artist. A part of me still doesn't want to be that, but I figured *shrug* why not try it, right? Of course right.
So now, I have these songs and I have a few ideas for the songs. Something completely different. Collaborations would be completely out of this world different than anything I've ever done before. Or anyone has done. And if not, it is sure to be different.
Anyway, enough about me. Let's talk about us.
We have a few more songs in the works. One that I am happy to say I'm really stoked about. haha. Just think 'Adonis Blood'. *laughs* Sometimes, creative juices take you to places you never thought you'd go.
Also, looking for new people to collab with for the mixtape and the album. That's pretty much it for this end of the stick. Wait... did that even make sense? Who knows. lol.

T-Minus 28 hours and 30 minutes
The show is tomorrow.
Once again, if you're not in the building, I really don't know what you're
doing with your life.
Time Out Bar, 1822 Grant St., Concord, Ca <--- Show starts at 9 with an $10.00 cover.
Set has been planned out. "Airplanes" by Young Alaska ft. Hayley Williams (of Paramore) and "Focus", the
new song off of 16 Fever. It's in the works right now.
Also, don't forget to get your copy of "Wake of Destruction" and "Sounthern Gentleman vol.1".
I'm a little nervous. Then again, I am ALWAYS nervous before a show. Some say it's a good thing as it
keeps you humble. Though, I don't think I'll ever not be humble. I am thankful for everything I've been given
or gotten to experience and I look forward to more. Even the not so good things.
Anyway, just a little note before I take off.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Hope that you eat tons (I know I will!), have fun, and remember to tell those dear to you that you love them!
Until next time,
Alaska

Just a little rambling...
Getting ready for the show on the 26th ...
Truthfully, I haven't really been on stage in a long time. I'm kind of nervous. But you know what,
I'm always nervous. haha. So I guess there's really no difference.
Working on some new songs for the mixtape. My ass is in gear right now.
Like honestly, truthfully, in gear.
I want to get this mixtape out as soon as possible. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to rush
anything. I want it to be perfect as I am kind of a perfectionist. Okay, more than kind of.
But the point is, is that I want it out.
And then, I want to start an album.
I know that we don't have much time at the moment, but I figure we can make the most of the
time we actually DO have. And so, I've been writing verses and songs non-stop.
Lyrically, I'm growing.
I'm not on the same level I was a year ago. Even better, I feel that I'm on a higher level.
I feel like the things that I say and write are more powerful now and more... I dunno..
It's just less about money, cars, bitches and all of that crap and more about real shit.
Uplifting or something..
I'm just different. But I love it.
I guess that's enough from me right now. Gonna go get on this music and see what I can make
of it. Beats are coming in by the wave now. Everyone wants to help me and I'm eternally grateful
for that. Honestly, thank you.
